ELECTROMAGNETIC PUNCHING UNIT
With our electromagnetic punching units holes can be punched into materials such as PE, BOPP, PP, paper, and many more, while the web is running. Depending on the material, it is possible to reach speeds of up to 130 metres per minute.

By immersing a rotary knife into a U-ledge which serves as a support for the material lying in between, a tear-off perforation is applied to a material across the running direction of the web.
The tear-off strength is varied by changing the knives and their cut/no-cut ratio.

The entirely new eccentric transversal perforation places your cuts more precisely and cleanly than ever before!
Our die-cutters work with so-called punching plates that are fixed on a magnetic cylinder. This saves a tiresome screwing or gluing.
Thanks to the futuristic drive system, continuously adjustable punch patterns can be realized with a single cylinder (by means of print mark registration). Speeds of up to 300 m/min have been possible so far without problems.
The drive is powered by servo motors that actuate the cutting cylinder (magnetic cylinder) and the counter pressure cylinder independently of each other.
